Aqua Botanical recently entered the Sustainable Land Competition hosted by Washington University.
An impressive 48 teams submitted proposals to the first round of the Sustainable Land Lab Competition. The creativity of the concepts and the expertise of the team members is astounding; everything from habitat for pollinators, carbon sequestering landscapes and pop-up business incubators, to modular sustainable in-fill, engaging public spaces, and platforms for sharing community resources, to designs informed by ethnohistorical sustainability practices and on-site energy production, and that’s just to name a few.
You can see our submission on the Sustainable Cities website:
Unfortunetly, we did not make the 2nd round of the competition. We are looking for property and resources to complete the project in our submission.
